I am asked this question a lot! Here are a few things that can cause it and

Some good products that can help it.

Rosacea, Genetics, Heat, Sun Exposure, Alcohol, Spicey Foods

Acne, Dryness, Over Exfoliation and Allergies, RETIN A

Some skincare ingredients can all contribute to REDNESS!!!

if, you do have a Dermatologist they have a cream they can subscribe

for you. SOOLANTRA -IVERMECTIN CREAM 1%! only doctors

can prescribe this.

THESE ARE A FEW SKIN SOOTHERS:

Avene Cicalfate Restorative Skin Cream, Klairs Blue Calming Cream-

for sensitive or compromised skin with high levels of fatty acids.

Clinique-Instant Corrector--a sheer green tinted primer for

covering redness also has sunscreen in it! (If, you need to cover it up)

Target-Acne Related redness with breakout treatments that contain

bacteria fighting and exfoliating ingredients like salicylic acid, use an oil free moisturizer to prevent over drying, which can prompt more dryness. If, dryness is the culprit making it vulnerable to infection and leading to sensitivity reduce exfoliation

and reinforce the skin barrier with a moisturizer with Hyaluronic acid to hydrate and Niacinamide to heal.

Also, you can try products with Azulene, (derived from the chamomile oil or blue tansy)

These ingredients soothe irritated skin, cool heated flushing and visibly reduce the appearance of redness. I use quit a few things with Azulene in them I have sensitive skin. (Just go to google and type in (Azulene Skin Care Products.)

If, you would like to contact me about any of the above, just text or call me.

I will be more than happy to help you.
