HIGH FREQUENCY

*Is done with a high frequency machine. It works by producing a gentle alternating electrical current which then passes through a glass electrode upon contact with the skin. In treating aging skin, high frequency current firms and tones by causing an immediate circulation rush to the skin in addition to subtle tissue warming. THERE ARE TWO ELECTRODES USED WITH THIS PRACTICE:

ARGON:-(VIOLET GLOW) AND NEON (ORANGE-RED GLOW)

which ionize electrical current to produce ozone, heat, and micro-vibrations

at the skin surface.

ARGON GAS ELECTRODE: Best for oily skin destroys bacteria great after

extractions on all skin types.

REDUCES INFLAMMATION: Calms active breakouts, shrinks pimples, and dials down redness. (It has been known to be used after waxing of the face)

RGLATES OIL: (Helps balance excessive sebum (oil) production of the pores.

NEON GAS ELECTRODE (ORANGE/RED GLOW)

Best for dry, mature, aging, or tired skin.
